An in-depth cruise of the Three Gorges region, sailing Chongqing to Yichang and returning to Chongqing, This longer cruise provides an opportunity enjoy the majestic scenery of the gorges, and different shore excursions in each direction.

Depart Chongqing – 9:00 pm: Sail from picturesque Chongqing, the “Mountain City.”

Mountain Shuanggui – Take a shore excursion to Mountain Shuanggui near Fengdu. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda. (B, L, D)
Additional optional shore excursion (in the evening, river conditions permitting) to the elaborate Fengyan Sanguo “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” show.

Enter the Three Gorges/“Small Gorges” – Enter the Three Gorges, one of nature’s most extraordinary sculptures. Today you will pass through the first two—Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge
is the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Goddess Stream. Later, enter Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and deepest of the Three Gorges. Three Gorges Dam – Disembark this morning and take a tour of the Three Gorges Dam, which spans the Yangtze River at Sandouping in Xiling Gorge. It is the world’s largest power station. (B, L, D)

Excursion to the Tribe of the Three Gorges or the Hometown of Qu Yuan – choose one of these excursions, which offer Interesting glimpses into the culture and history of the Xiling Gorge region.

Shennong Stream “Small Gorges”/Wu Gorge/Qutang Gorge – Transfer to another vessel for an excursion through Shennong Stream small gorges, which are narrower than the Three Gorges, but very impressive. Enter the 25-mile long Wu Gorge, known for its quiet beauty, forest covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Then sail through Qutang Gorge, the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic gorge.

Snow Jade Cave/Xiao Guan Shan Folk Culture Park – Shore excursion to scenic Snow Jade Cave/Xiao Guan Shan Folk Culture Park . (B, L, D)

Victoria Cruise lines reserves the option to substitute another vessel in its fleet, depending on winter maintenance schedules.
Single supplement: Add 75% of the cruise fare in a superior cabin and 100% of the cruise fare in a suite.
Children under 12: Staying in the parents’ cabin are charged 67% of the full cruise fare. Parents with children 2 and over, and adults sharing a triple, may find that a Superior Cabin is not roomy enough when a third bed or cot is placed in it. For such bookings, it is suggested that either a suite be reserved, or the third passenger reserve as a single or share basis in a separate cabin.
Children under 2: Staying in the parents’ cabin are charged 10% of the full cruise fare. In a Superior Cabin, infants under 2 must stay in a bed with a parent.
Service Charge: In lieu of tipping, Victoria Cruises charges approximately $50.00 for cruises of 7 days and over, to be billed on passengers’ credit cards upon check-in (amount may fluctuate depending on exchange rate). This service charge does not include a gratuity to our river guide or cruise director, which may be given at passengers’ discretion based on their satisfaction with services received, as can gratuities for additional special services requested by passengers. For porterage between the cabin and lobby, an optional gratuity of $1.00 per bag is recommended.
Guest satisfaction is our highest priority. Any service issue should be communicated to our Cruise Director, so that we can address it in a timely manner. Should any service concerns not be met to your satisfaction, the service charge can be adjusted by our Cruise Director at time of disembarkation.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. A fuel surcharge may be added to the cruise fare, depending upon fluctuations in the price of fuel.
