Victoria Cruise Lines has a fleet of seven Five–Star vessels (as designated by the China Ministry of Culture and Tourism). Attractive public areas embody a modern blend of European and Asian design. The architecture emphasizes spacious rooms with modern amenities, with private balconies, bathtubs, and cable TV. All ships are fully equipped with Wi-Fi and international telecommunications systems.

Victoria’s fleet includes the Victoria Anna, Victoria Grace, Victoria Jenna, Victoria Katarina, Victoria Lianna, Victoria Selina, Victoria Sophia. Currently, Victoria’s vessels range in size from 192 to 378 passengers, and are built to international maritime regulation standards. In the spring of 2020, Victoria will inaugurate the Victoria Sabrina, a state-of-the-art vessel which will be the largest river cruise ship in the world, carrying 574 passengers. It has been recognized by the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a special hi-tech demonstration ship for energy-saving and environmental protection.

Onboard entertainment includes activities geared towards showcasing the culture of China and its spellbinding Yangtze River – the world’s third–longest river, and the longest in Asia. Among the daytime pleasures: informative lectures, painting demonstrations, acupuncture demonstrations, Tai Chi as well as lessons in the Mandarin language, calligraphy, mahjong and the making of silk kites. In the evening in the elegant Yangtze Club, guests can delight in colorful cultural presentations, traditional fashion shows and the sounds of authentic Chinese music.

Victoria’s ships are refurbished every year, and its management is always seeking to innovate. Victoria’s Luxury Amenities Program has been hailed as a major success by tour operators with whom Victoria partners to provide the Yangtze River cruise segment for packaged China vacations, particularly those catering to upscale passengers. The program features “white glove” service, enhanced ship placement, access to the exclusive Executive Lounge, complimentary beverages, exclusive shore excursions for groups of six or more, enhanced dining privileges, exclusive happy hour, and complimentary internet access.

Victoria maintains an international clientele, and one unique feature of a Yangtze River cruise is that it affords the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, as well as local Chinese passengers. This makes for a more interesting cruise experience.

The Yangtze is one of the great river journeys of the world. A cruise on the Yangtze offers some magnificent scenery, interesting sightseeing and a chance to relax and unwind. With the completion of the Three Gorges Dam, the Three Gorges region has undergone historic changes, and travelers on the Yangtze now have a unique opportunity to witness this transformation. The region continues to change and evolve. Modern China is indeed a phenomenon, and the Yangtze River has become a living laboratory for China’s modernization. Entire new cities have been built above the old towns and villages along the water’s bank, but the scenery of the Three Gorges remains quite beautiful.

Victoria has earned numerous awards and recognitions over the years, including the 2011 TravelAge West WAVE Award Editor’s Pick for Best River Cruise Line as well as Best New River Cruise Ship in 2010 with the launch of the luxurious Victoria Jenna. Travel Weekly also selected the Victoria Jenna as a Silver Award Winner for the Magellan Awards’ River Cruise Ship category.
