VICTORIA CRUISE LINES OFFERS ‘ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS’ LIVE-ACTION PERFORMANCE AS OPTIONAL EXCURSION IN ZHONGXIAN
NEW YORK – Pioneer of luxury river cruising on China’s Yangtze River, Victoria Cruise Lines has launched a new optional excursion to experience the acclaimed “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” live-action musical and acrobatic performance.
The epic tale vividly presents historical scenes with elaborate costumes and 3D holographic projections in an outdoor setting on Three Gorges Harbour in Zhongxian with China’s mist-shrouded Yangtze River as its stage.
“We’ve only been offering this optional excursion for a few weeks, but passenger feedback has been quite positive,” said Larry Greenman, manager of public relations and customer service for Victoria Cruise Lines.
“It’s an outdoor performance with the Three Gorges as its backdrop done on such an impressive scale unlike anything passengers have experienced in traditional theater. It’s truly a sight to behold,” said Greenman.
The excursion is priced from $47 per passenger and may fluctuate based on currency exchange rates. Passengers who do not purchase the optional excursion may remain onboard for various shipboard activities.
